This unique and contemporary guest house rests in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of York, comprising 2 Victorian town houses, sensitively modernised to provide a high standard bed and breakfast experience.

All our rooms have been recently upgraded, creating a clean, small hotel style feel. Whether its singles, doubles, twins or family rooms, we have a range of accommodation and prices to suit most travellers, holiday makers or longer stay requirements. Why not unwind after a hard days work, shopping or sightseeing in our relaxing lounge bar and patio area; a perfect way to end your day.We accommodate most special dietary requirements on our breakfast menus, but please be sure to notify the hotel in advance where possible of any special needs.

We have 2 ground floor rooms, one twin en suite and one double en suite room, which can accommodate those not wishing or able to climb many stairs. Please be sure to notify the hotel of your requirements in advance and we will try to accommodate them as best we can.

It is now illegal to smoke in the hotel and offenders will face stiff penalties. The hotel has always been a non-smoking establishment with strictly no smoking allowed in any of the rooms or common areas of the hotel. We can accommodate smoking in our private, rear outdoor garden/patio area but please ask staff on arrival to access this facility.

Linden Lodge has only one single room, but it proves to be one of our most popular room available.

The room is a smaller version of our double and twin rooms. A full set of fresh, clean and crisp white sheets, hand towels and bath mats are provided to make the stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible.

Fresh milk can be provided for the room on arrival, if required, and morning papers can be ordered on request. Crisp clean and fresh, white sheets, hand towels and bath mats come as standard.

Our family rooms at Linden Lodge are the largest rooms in the hotel. Each consists of one double bed and 2 single beds and will sleep up to 4 people, consisting of 2 adults and 2 children (under the age of 16).

Occupancy by more than 2 adults, will be charged at the normal adult daily rate on arrival at the hotel. Board games are available on request.

Each family member is provided with a full set of fresh, clean, white bed sheets, hand towels and a bath mat to help make the stay as relaxing, comfortable and stress free as possible.
